BetterLaunch: Launch Your Product, Find Your Audience
Explore weekly launches, community rankings, submission options, and advertising sponsorships on BetterLaunch.
Once your product is live, you need to get it in front of people who might use it. On BetterLaunch, makers can share what they have built, and visitors can discover new tools, try them, and ask the makers questions.
1. Discover products, one week at a time
The homepage brings together a weekly batch of launches. Each product has a dedicated page with its description, images, website link, and discussion. Browse categories and tags to find something relevant, or search products on Explore, or explore the leaderboard to revisit earlier launches.
You can browse without an account. Sign in to vote, comment, or submit a product. A useful comment can be a question about a use case, a report about a confusing step, or feedback after trying the product.
2. Community votes and weekly, monthly, and yearly results
The leaderboard lets you switch between weekly, monthly, and yearly rankings and browse past periods. Weekly rankings group products by launch batch. Monthly and yearly rankings include products published during the UTC calendar month or year and count cumulative votes still active at the closing cutoff; they do not add together weekly ranks or awards.
An open period shows live standings. Weekly results are finalized when the next batch launches; monthly and yearly results are finalized by scheduled jobs after the period ends. Finalized ranks and vote counts remain fixed, so later votes do not rewrite historical leaderboards. Paying for placement does not add votes or buy a ranking.
The top three in each finalized weekly, monthly, or yearly ranking can receive the corresponding winner badge. Open a product’s badges tab from My products to copy the available embed code. Our backlinks and DR guide explains how badges differ from link entitlements.
Share your launch page with people who might find the product useful, explain the problem it solves, and answer their questions. Those conversations can help you understand what visitors need.
3. Choose how to submit
Start in the submission form. Enter your website URL, review the imported information, and complete the product profile. My products lets you follow the submission status and manage your product.
BetterLaunch offers three submission options:
- Free enters review and the available weekly launch queue. It currently requires a verified Domain Rating of at least 10. Each account can submit up to 3 non-rejected free products in total; Boost and Highlight do not consume this quota.
- Boost skips the free review queue and reserves a future launch slot.
- Highlight publishes immediately and adds seven days of exposure in a separate homepage promotion section.
See the pricing page for current prices and benefits. Your plan determines the placement and launch arrangements; community votes determine the leaderboard.
Before you start, use the submission preparation guide to gather your copy, logo, and preview image.
4. Reach visitors through sponsorship
Advertising sponsorship is separate from a product submission. A sponsor placement gives your brand a designated advertising slot for selected dates, with weekly and monthly options shown on the pricing page. Availability depends on the slots and dates you choose.
A product launch lets you introduce a tool and invite people to try it and discuss it. Sponsorship gives your brand visibility over a chosen period. Neither guarantees traffic, signups, or sales. You still need a clear offer and a landing page that helps visitors get started.
If you are still choosing channels, compare the 10 product launch platforms. When your materials are ready, submit your product. Explain why someone should try it, and follow up on their feedback.
